CVE-2026-86597

Credential disclosure via incomplete diagnostic-log redaction

Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

Sensitive-data exposure in Snowflake client drivers allows local users with log access to obtain tokens, keys, URLs, and SAML assertions. Diagnostic logging paths wrote full response headers, result-master keys, signed URL parameters, credentials, and assertions when redaction rules did not cover those values. Exploitation requires read access to a log destination, and resulting access remains bounded by each credential's validity and object scope.
