Authenticated command execution via connection parameters
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
OS command injection in Rapid7 InsightConnect SQLmap Plugin before 2.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on Linux. Connection setup fails to validate api_host and api_port before passing them into the OS-command execution path. High-privilege InsightConnect access is required, and successful injection runs arbitrary commands in the Linux plugin environment.
