Account-server information disclosure via plaintext decryption key
Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
Hard-coded credentials in ZTE SmartLife ZTE_SL_V2.8.2_ABROAD and earlier allow local users to read account-server information. The application stores in plaintext within its code the cryptographic key used to decrypt account-server information. Local access to the distributed client is sufficient to recover the key; the disclosed consequence is limited to reading that server information.
