Account enumeration via runtime-generated authentication parameters
Published Sep 20, 2026 · Updated Sep 20, 2026
Improper privilege management in ZTE SmartLife 2.8.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to disclose account status and IDs. The /account/verify.serv endpoint accepts runtime-generated application authentication parameters and returns registration status plus the backend account ID for a supplied email address. Attackers must obtain the application's dynamically generated authentication parameters; disclosure is limited to account existence and identifiers.
