CVE-2026-8652

OS command execution via web-console injection

Published May 25, 2026 · Updated May 25, 2026

OS command injection in Aterm CM51FD before 1.2.0 and MR51FN before 3.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute OS commands. The affected web-console command-processing path passes attacker-controlled administrator input to an OS command interpreter without adequate neutralization; NEC has not disclosed the page, parameter, or function involved. Exploitation requires administrator access from the router's LAN side, and arbitrary commands or scripts can run on the device; WAN-side Internet attacks are excluded.
