Information disclosure via Kubernetes spec-source URL fetching
Published Sep 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
SSRF in JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA before 2026.2.2 allows attackers to access network resources when a user opens an untrusted project. The Kubernetes integration accepts a spec-source URL from project content and fetches that location without adequately restricting its destination. Exploitation requires the crafted project to be opened, after which the IDE can contact attacker-selected network locations and disclose limited information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
