Identity takeover via exposed fixed credentials
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Insecure defaults in Eclipse aeriOS IdM development builds allow remote attackers to administer identities or access the database. The Helm chart exposed Keycloak and PostgreSQL through NodePort services, Docker Compose bound PostgreSQL to all interfaces, and both shipped fixed credentials without adequate secret management. Reachability of either service is sufficient for unauthorized reading or modification of identity data and creation of privileged identities or tokens.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
