Image-processing crash via Layer heap use-after-free

Heap use-after-free in ImageMagick PerlMagick before 7.1.2-30 and 6.9.x before 6.9.13-55 allows local users to crash image processing. The Layer method processes a crafted image list and later accesses image memory after that memory has been deallocated. Exploitation requires the crafted list to be processed locally and interrupts only the affected process, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
