Unauthenticated user data disclosure via unchecked account identifier
Published Sep 13, 2026 · Updated Sep 13, 2026
Information disclosure in WPEverest User Registration & Membership before 5.2.8 allows remote attackers to read other members' data. The membership confirmation page accepts an account identifier without verifying ownership or a completed registration or purchase, then expands configured user smart tags with that account's email, profile, role, and order details. Exploitation requires a site owner to add a user smart tag to the page's configurable message; the shipped default omits such tags.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
