Unauthenticated code execution via crafted web request
Published May 26, 2026 · Updated May 26, 2026
Code injection in IBM Web Server Plug-ins 8.5 and 9.0 allows remote attackers to execute code via a specially crafted HTTP request. IBM has not published the affected request-processing locus or the operation that turns request data into executable code. The plug-in must be installed and exposed through a configured web server; exploitation requires no authentication or user interaction and grants control in the plug-in process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
