CVE-2026-86321Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SSRF via unrestricted URL.openStream request

Published Sep 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

SSRF in JsonLoader.fromURL in Java Json Tools jackson-coreutils 2.0 allows remote attackers to make arbitrary outbound requests. JsonLoader.fromURL passes the supplied URL directly to URL.openStream() without restricting its scheme, host, or destination. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass attacker-controlled URLs; resulting requests can reach internal services or local files, and crafted numeric JSON can exhaust JVM memory.
