Administrative state changes via missing CSRF validation
Published Sep 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in light0011 cms at two affected commits allows remote attackers to alter administrative state. Administrative controllers accept cookie-authenticated GET and POST writes without CSRF tokens or origin validation; VoteModel::first() clears poll state and enables an attacker-supplied ID. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator with the relevant permission to open attacker-controlled content, enabling manager, navigation, or vote deletion and comment or poll changes.
