Unauthenticated database disclosure via exposed SQL dump

Published Sep 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026

Information disclosure in Code Projects Hospital Information System 1.0 allows remote attackers to retrieve the his.sql database dump. Installation places HIS/his.sql inside the web document root, where the server returns it to a direct HTTP GET without authorization checks. No application account is required; successful retrieval exposes the database schema and any records stored in the distributed dump.
