CVE-2026-86276Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Database compromise via hard-coded db.php credentials

Published Sep 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026

Hard-coded credentials in SourceCodester Syllabus-Aligned Learning Management & Examination System 1.0 allow remote attackers to access its database. The shipped db.php embeds fixed database authentication values instead of obtaining deployment-specific secrets, exposing reusable credentials in the publicly distributed source code. Exploitation requires no application account or user interaction; a reachable database accepting those values permits reading, changing, or deleting application data and interrupting service.
