Database manipulation via unsanitized room_name query input
Published Sep 6, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through room_name input. The /admin/modal_add_room.php handler passes attacker-controlled room_name data into mysqli_query without neutralizing SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation can read or alter database data and interrupt database-backed operations.
