Unauthenticated SQL dump disclosure via exposed file
Published Sep 6, 2026 · Updated Sep 6, 2026
Information disclosure in Code Projects Hotel and Tourism Reservation in PHP 1.0 allows remote attackers to retrieve a SQL dump. The hotel_db (1).sql database file remains inside the web-served /ht directory, where the server returns it directly to an unauthenticated HTTP GET request. The exposure requires deployment under the document root without a rule blocking SQL files and reveals the dump's schema and any records it contains.
