Unauthenticated database manipulation via injectable user ID
Published Sep 6, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries via the ID parameter. The delete_user.php endpoint fails to neutralize SQL syntax in the attacker-controlled ID value before using it in a database query, causing injected expressions to execute as query logic. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation permits reading, changing, or deleting application database data.
