Private database schema disclosure via missing visibility check
Published Sep 5, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Information disclosure in SiYuan before 3.8.2 allows remote authenticated users to read private database key schemas through a publish endpoint. The getAttributeViewKeysByID handler calls model.GetAttributeViewKeysByID directly, parsing the attribute-view file and returning requested keys without checking whether a parent database is publish-visible. Publish-reader access and a valid attribute-view ID are required; successful requests disclose field names, definitions, and relation targets from hidden databases.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
