CVE-2026-86185Public exploit

Code execution via unsigned remote configuration

Published Sep 5, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

Improper certificate validation in Bilibili Desktop 1.18.0 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to execute code via injected configuration. The main process sets NODE_TLS_REJECT_UNAUTHORIZED to 0, accepts attacker certificates, stores unsigned injectcode responses, and passes their JavaScript to webContents.executeJavaScript. An on-path position and routine application use are sufficient; injected code runs as the logged-in Windows user and can launch executables or read login cookies.
