Adjacent code execution via TDDPv2 stack overflow
Published Oct 1, 2026 · Updated Oct 1, 2026
Stack overflow in TP-Link Systems Inc. Deco M9 Plus before 1.9.2 Build 20260818 allows attackers to execute code via TDDPv2 packets. The subtype 0x91 handler in /usr/bin/tddp copies decrypted request data into a fixed-size stack buffer without adequately validating its length. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access during device setup and can also crash the service.
