CVE-2026-86176Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-user record disclosure via unscoped API querysets

Published Sep 5, 2026 · Updated Sep 5, 2026

Authorization bypass in NetBox 4.7.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read other users' private API records. The NotificationViewSet, SubscriptionViewSet, and BookmarkViewSet querysets and corresponding GraphQL resolvers return all model objects without filtering on the requesting user. Relevant view permissions, or the global view-permission exemption, expose user identities and the infrastructure objects they watch or bookmark.
