Unauthenticated service interruption via unchecked buffer copy
Published Sep 6, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Buffer overflow in Tenda HG10 300001138 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through a crafted formURL HTTP request. The Boa formURL handler copies the user-controlled Keywd value with strcpy into a fixed-size buffer without validating its length, overwriting adjacent memory. Network access to the management HTTP interface is required, with no authentication or user interaction; the demonstrated result is an unresponsive router.
