Unauthenticated database access via login SQL injection
Published Sep 6, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Voting System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through the login endpoint. The /ajax.php?action=login handler incorporates the Username parameter into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, so injected input changes the query structure. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can bypass login controls and read or modify voting-system data.
