UI and settings hijack via privileged IPC
Published Sep 29, 2026 · Updated Sep 29, 2026
Privileged IPC exposure in Progress Telerik Fiddler Everywhere before 8.2.0 allows local users to replace its UI or settings via altered launch parameters. The application exposes privileged IPC functionality through application launch parameters, allowing attacker-controlled content to replace the UI or settings; Progress has not published a more specific method or function. A low-privileged user must alter those parameters and persuade another user to start the application; the resulting content can disclose OAuth tokens, run locally accessible programs, or modify application-generated configuration files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
