CVE-2026-86115Network attack vector

Internal API access via prefix-based token minting

Published Sep 5, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

Confused-deputy routing in Sim before 0.8.14 allows remote authenticated users to reach internal APIs through crafted HTTP block URLs. The tool dispatcher treats any URL beginning with /api/ as internal without normalizing it, skips SSRF validation, and adds a server-minted internal token. Workflow-author access is required; the request stays on the Sim origin but can invoke internal-only handlers and disclose limited data.
