Elevated command execution via unvalidated management inputs
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
OS command injection in Arista VeloCloud SD-WAN Edge 6.4.1.x and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute elevated commands. Management and configuration workflows interpret insufficiently validated request parameters or configuration values as operating-system commands. Exploitation requires control of a compromised Orchestrator or credentials for an established management interface and grants elevated execution on the Edge.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0.0.0 <5.2.0
- Affected versionversion=5.2.0 <=5.2.6.x
- Affected versionversion=6.1.0 <=6.1.4.x
