Subscriber-level settings modification via unchecked admin POST
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Missing authorization in TypeSquare Webfonts for ConoHa 2.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter site-wide font settings. The admin_init handler processes POSTed fontThemeUseType data on any wp-admin page and writes plugin options without a capability check. Subscriber-level access is sufficient; values 1 and 3 also skip nonce verification, exposing those branches to cross-site request forgery.
