CVE-2026-85983

Local privilege escalation to service-account code execution

Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

Code injection in Auth0 AD/LDAP Connector 6.5.0 and earlier allows local users to execute code as the service account. During service startup, the connector improperly processes an attacker-modifiable configuration value; Okta has not disclosed the affected key or parsing operation. Exploitation requires authenticated low-privileged access to the connector host and a service restart, after which injected code runs with the service account's privileges.
