CVE-2026-85982

Administrator script execution via unencoded admin output

Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

Stored XSS in Auth0 AD/LDAP Connector 6.5.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The admin panel renders directory search-result data and updater log content without proper HTML encoding, allowing inserted script markup to become executable output. Injection requires either authenticated access that can modify directory attributes or low-privileged local host access, and execution requires an administrator to view the affected results or logs.
