CVE-2026-85787Network attack vector

Unauthorized data modification via SQL blocklist bypass

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

SQL validation bypass in Amazon Aurora Postgres MCP Server before 1.1.7 allows remote attackers to modify database data via crafted SQL. The read-only validation component checks submitted statements against an incomplete blocklist, allowing disallowed SQL constructs to reach PostgreSQL. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to interact with attacker-controlled content; resulting writes are bounded by the server's database role.
