Cross-origin data disclosure via faulty CORS enforcement
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
CORS enforcement in Google Chrome before 148.0.7778.168 on Linux and ChromeOS allows remote attackers to read cross-origin data via crafted HTML. Google has not published the affected CORS code path or the incorrect operation that permits a disallowed origin to receive response data. Exploitation requires user interaction with crafted HTML, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of cross-origin data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
