Administrator-level command execution via SQL-import allowlist bypass
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
SQL-import validation in Stirling PDF before 2.13.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via crafted SQL files. DatabaseService.validateSqlContent() accepts semicolon-separated fragments containing any allowed keyword, leaving H2 file operations unchecked during RUNSCRIPT. Administrator access, default H2, and security mode are required; command execution as the JVM service account additionally depends on a Python interpreter loading attacker-written startup files.
