Remote service interruption via unbounded Jailbreak requests
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Resource exhaustion in FreeGPT WebUI 098db3dfeb41555c2ca9269df0f13e10ec1c35dc allows remote attackers to interrupt service via Jailbreak Mode. The getJailbreak function in server/backend.py allocates resources without limits when processing manipulated requests, although published sources do not identify the resource or request field. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation consumes server capacity and interrupts the unsupported application.
