Unauthorized AI requests via unchecked completion calls
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Missing authentication in FreeGPT WebUI at commit 098db3dfeb41555c2ca9269df0f13e10ec1c35dc allows remote attackers to submit unauthorized AI requests. ChatCompletion.create in g4f/init.py processes completion input without checking the caller's identity or credentials. No account or user interaction is required, so any network client that can reach the application can invoke its completion service.
