CVE-2026-85692Network attack vector

Authenticated SSRF via incomplete IPv6 address classification

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

SSRF in Nightingale 9.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services through the http_fetch tool. The isPublicIP guard in aiagent/tools/http.go unwraps only IPv4-mapped IPv6 before its forbidden-range test, so 6to4, NAT64, and site-local forms pass as public. Exploitation requires access to http_fetch plus dual-stack or NAT64 routing and permits reads from internal or cloud metadata services.
