CVE-2026-85691Network attack vector

Internal response disclosure via unchecked URL fetch

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026

Server-side request forgery in MegaParse 0.0.55 allows remote attackers to read internal HTTP responses via POST /v1/url. The route passes its raw URL parameter to httpx or a Playwright loader without scheme, host, or private-address validation, then returns fetched content in JSON. No authentication is required, exposing reachable internal services and metadata responses but no reported write or availability impact.
