Stored XSS via unescaped profile page title
Published Sep 19, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
Stored XSS in Ultimate Member before 2.13.1 allows remote attackers who register accounts to execute JavaScript in profile visitors' browsers. The profile-title path decodes HTML entities after sanitization and outputs a profile-name-derived value without escaping it. Account registration and a victim viewing the attacker's profile are required; execution occurs in that visitor's session, including an administrator's.
