Administrator takeover via unchecked remote username collision
Published Oct 16, 2026 · Updated Oct 16, 2026
Account takeover in Ontraport PilotPress 2.0.43 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain Administrator access. update_cc_details() renames the ONTRAPORT contact before checking local username collisions and leaves the rename in place on failure; user_login() then resets the colliding WordPress account's password without blocking core authentication. Subscriber-level membership, a valid ONTRAPORT contact, and the Customer Center nonce are required; an Administrator login collision grants full control of that account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
