CVE-2026-85651Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Cross-tenant task injection via unscoped environment lookup

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

Missing authorization in Trigger.dev before 4.5.2 allows remote authenticated users to inject replayed runs into other environments. The replay action passes the request body's environment identifier to findEnvironmentById, which filters only by identifier and does not verify organization or project membership. Exploitation requires ownership of a source run and knowledge of a target environment ID; injected runs consume victim compute and alter run history.
