Local privilege escalation via agent-tray file deletion
Published Sep 7, 2026 · Updated Sep 7, 2026
Privilege escalation in Zoho Corporation ManageEngine Endpoint Central before 11.5.2600.15 allows local users to gain elevated access. The agent-tray Upload Logs feature relies on an outdated component that can delete files from directories the user cannot access. A low-privileged user with local access must invoke the affected tray workflow; successful exploitation permits arbitrary file deletion and privilege escalation.
