Wi-Fi password disclosure via cleartext pairing traffic
Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026
Cleartext pairing traffic in FERMAX DuoxMe before 4.3.4 and VEO firmware before 01.50.001 allows attackers to read home Wi-Fi passwords. During pairing, the app sends the home-network password to the monitor across the Wi-Fi Direct link without encryption. An attacker must join that pairing network and capture traffic while setup is active; the disclosed consequence is exposure of the network password.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
