Comment disclosure via unchecked image identifiers
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Missing authorization in Slink before 1.12.3 allows remote attackers to read image comment threads through public API endpoints. The GET and server-sent-events paths accept an image ID and return existing or live comments without authenticating the caller or checking image access. Knowledge of an image ID is sufficient to disclose full threads and subsequent comment updates for public images.
