CVE-2026-85582Public exploitNetwork attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated denial of service via unbounded sessions

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

Resource exhaustion in SiYuan before 3.8.2 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service through repeated Basic Auth requests. The publish-service Basic Auth handler inserts a fresh session object for every successful request, while its global registry enforces no expiry or capacity bound. Possession of a valid publish credential and network access to the service are required; sustained requests retain sessions, grow process memory indefinitely, and degrade availability.
