Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG uploads
Published Sep 30, 2026 · Updated Sep 30, 2026
Stored XSS in TheCodeFish All in One Files Upload for WooCommerce 2.0.3 through 2.0.16 lets remote attackers upload scripted SVGs. The plugin permits SVG uploads but neither sanitizes their content nor verifies the authenticity of public upload requests, leaving embedded scripts in stored files. An unauthenticated request can store a file, but execution requires another user to open it in the site's origin; the script then runs in that user's browser context.
