Arbitrary file write via archive-entry path traversal
Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
Brocade Active Support Connectivity Gateway before 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to write host files via path traversal. Support bundle extraction does not sanitize traversal sequences in archive-entry paths, allowing writes outside the intended directory into restricted host locations. Exploitation requires sending or intercepting ingested archives from compromised endpoints; code execution depends on the files overwritten.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
