Authenticated SSRF via webhook hostname blocklist bypass
Published Oct 12, 2026 · Updated Oct 12, 2026
SSRF in Red Hat Quay webhooks allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services through crafted notification URLs. WebhookMethod in notifications/notificationmethod.py compares the URL hostname against a blocklist before sending an HTTP POST, leaving internal destinations outside that list reachable. Exploitation requires repository-administrator access and outbound connectivity to the target; the supplied record reports sensitive-information disclosure, but accessible evidence does not establish affected versions or the disclosure path.
