Process-memory disclosure via out-of-bounds GPU read
Published May 14, 2026 · Updated May 14, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Google Chrome's GPU before 148.0.7778.168 on Mac and Windows allows remote attackers to read process memory via crafted HTML. Google has not disclosed the affected GPU code path or the missing boundary check that permits a read beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires user interaction with the crafted page and prior compromise of its renderer process; the disclosed impact is process-memory disclosure only.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
