Control-plane compromise via unauthenticated HTTPS control requests
Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
Missing authentication in Brocade ASCG before 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to control streaming services via HTTPS requests. The ASCGStreaming Service in Brocade Active Support Connectivity Gateway accepts control commands without enforcing authentication or access checks. Standard deployments are affected; exploitation requires adjacent-network access and permits cluster-state and system-configuration changes.
