Script injection in Google Chrome for Android before 148.0.7778.168 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted HTML pages. SanitizeSafeInternal returns when Sanitizer creation rejects an invalid configuration but leaves the parsed DocumentFragment uncleared, allowing setHTML to insert active markup into the live DOM. A user must load a page that invokes setHTML with conflicting sanitizer options; event-handler attributes then execute in the page context.
