Cross-tenant database disclosure via unsanitized sort field
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
SQL injection in Worklenz 3.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read cross-tenant database content through a sort field. WorklenzControllerBase.toPaginationOptions accepts the field query parameter without an allowlist and interpolates it verbatim into raw ORDER BY clauses. Any logged-in team member can reach affected client and job-title endpoints and use time- or boolean-based inference to extract password hashes and other tenant data.
